WIN YOUR SHARE OF $10,000

    The 3v3 Hoops Tournament will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 12 Noon to 4:00 PM at The Ohio State University Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) located at 337 W. 17th Ave, Columbus, OH 43210. Admission is FREE for spectators.

    The tournament is hosted by NBA legend Kenny Anderson, featuring a full day of basketball, music, fan festivities, and nonstop hardwood action.

    Each team may have up to four (4) players total: three players on the court and one substitute. Teams may start a game with two or three players, but no more than three (3) may play at once.

  • No. Coaches are not counted as players and do not count toward the four-player limit. Coaches are welcome to support their teams from the sidelines but may not participate in gameplay.

  • Yes.

    • Middle School and High School divisions are required for anyone 17 years old or younger, unless an exemption is granted in writing by CFC’s CEO.

    • Middle School and High School teams must have a parent or legal guardian represent the team and complete the registration form.

    • College and Business/Community divisions are open to eligible adult participants.

    • Middle School – Boys & Girls

    • High School – Boys & Girls

    • College – Men’s & Women’s

    • Business/Community – Men’s & Women’s

    If your team does not fit into another category, you should register under the Business/Community division.

    • Middle School: $100 per team

    • High School: $175 per team

    • College: $250 per team

    • Business/Community: $400 per team

     

    Registration payment must be completed before submitting the registration form.

  • Registration is first-come, first-served and limited to 48 total teams. Teams are encouraged to register early, as early registrants may receive early bird specials before March 15, 2026. Available specials will be disclosed at the time you remit your registration fee.

  • Yes, team member substitutions may be allowed up to a specified cutoff before the tournament. Any changes must be approved by tournament staff and must comply with division eligibility rules. Same-day roster changes are not guaranteed.

    • Every team is guaranteed a minimum of  two games.

    • No shot clock.

    • Scoring of two points for shots inside the arc and three points for shots beyond the arc.

    • After a made basket, the ball is taken to the arc for a "check" with the defense before the next possession begins.

    • One referee and one timekeeper for each game.

    • The clock stops during all dead ball situations.

    • Teams can only sub on a dead ball or timeouts.

    • Two timeouts per team, per game.

    • Each player gets six personal fouls after which the player is ejected.

     

    Elam Rule Decides Winner

    • At four-minute mark of game, first team to reach the set target score (current leader’s score plus six points) wins the game.

    • Example: At four-minute mark score is 10 to 8.  Set target score is 16 (10 + 6 = 16). First team to score 16 points wins.

    • Middle School: Medals and gift cards

    • High School: Medals and $1,000 to Boys Champions and $1,000 to Girls Champions

    • College: Medals and $2,000 to Men’s Champions and $2,000 to Women’s Champions

    • Business/Community: Medals and $2,000 to Men’s Champions and $2,000 to Women’s Champions

     

    A total of $10,000 in cash prizes will be awarded.

  • Prize money will be distributed on-site at or before 4:00 PM.

  • Yes! The tournament competition is designed to bring together employers and the workforce as well as professionals, community leaders, and decision makers. In addition to gameplay, tournament participants will be treated to free food, music, fan activities, and networking opportunities throughout the day. Many participating teams include local businesses and organizations—so bring your game and your resume, and business cards.

  • No! Admission is completely FREE.
